We are raising public awareness of our ongoing fight for safety, protection and respect. This action is organized in partnership with our sisters and brothers in the New England Health Care Employees Union, District 1199/SEIU. it is an important opportunity to draw attention to Hartford HealthCare (HHC)'s rejection of proposed workplace health and safety protections.
The picket will kick off at 2:00pm; confirmed attendees include:
- U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal;
- U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney;
- State Sen. Mae Flexer;
- State Rep. Susan Johnson; &
- State Rep. Brian Smith.
Social distancing and face masks will be required.
